Description:
Common names for M. odorata include
Sweet Cicely, British Myrrh and Sweet Chervil.
This lovely perennial has fern like oliage
and produces many bunches of white flowers
atop 2- to 3-foot, hollow tems.
The flowers and leaves smell and taste like Anise.
This plant grows wild in many parts of Europe.
Aztec's Use of Arrayan
Arrayan is used as a tonic for upset stomach,
useful for diarrhea and dysentery,
used to treat vaginal diseases such as
(Vaginosis Bacteriana)
abnormal vaginal
discharge,
control of abnormal menstrual flow and genital warts.
